Personalized Electric Branding Iron - Standard Size - USA Made

Our standard production time for branding irons is 3 business days, but we also offer a rush production option that reduces the turnaround to 2 business days. This is calculated from the next business day after you place your order to the time the product ships out of our Southern California facility. Please note that production time is separate from shipping speed.

We provide two sizes of rectangular branding irons: standard and large. The standard iron has a branded mark size of approximately 0.65" x 1.50", while the large iron has a branded mark size of approximately 0.875" x 2.00".

Our branding heads are machined to 3/4" thick for optimal heat retention, allowing the tool to require less frequent re-heating. This makes them suitable for both fire-heating and use with electric heating tools.

All of our branding heads are produced with the artwork raised 3/32" from the base, preventing ghosting marks from the die. This ensures a clear impression on multiple materials and a clean mark when heated to the appropriate temperature.

Both the standard and large sizes of our rectangular branding heads feature a 3/8" - 16 thread tapped hole for attaching a fire-heated handle or electric heating tool. This tight-fitting attachment method allows for maximum heat transfer when using our electric heating tools.

If you select the large size branding iron, a Hakko 557-V12B 200 Watt electric heating tool will be included. For the standard size, a Weller 80 Watt electric heating tool will be provided.

When purchasing an electric branding iron, a 400 Watt Choice Rheostat is included for controlling the level of heat output from the electric heating tool. This allows for maximum control over the resulting branding mark and ensures repeatability when proper test marks are made and the settings are recorded.

Our Brass Branding Heads are intended for use on non-edible materials only, such as wood, leather, cork, cardboard, and plastic (with thin line artwork, not large bold areas).

All of our customizable branding irons allow for uploading your own artwork and text/font customization. The electric versions include the heating tool and temperature control unit, while the fire-heated options offer the optional upgrade to electric.

The standard branding mark size is approximately 0.65" x 1.5", and the branding head is 3/4" thick for optimal heat retention. The image is raised 3/92" to minimize or avoid background marks. Our standard production time is 3 business days, with expedited options available through the customizer.
